Spencer G. Niles to Serve as the 79th ACES President

ACES is pleased to announce the results of the recent officer election. Thank you to all who participated as candidates and for members who took the time to vote.

Dr. Spencer G. Niles will become the 79th ACES president. Dr. Niles is a professor at William and Mary University. He will move into the role of ACES president-elect on July 1, 2024 moving then to the president role the following year.

Dr. Chi Li was the successful candidate in the ACES secretary-elect race. Dr. Li is an assistant professor at Palo Alto University in California. July 1, she moves into the secretary-elect role and the following year will begin year one of a two-year term as ACES secretary.

Minju Kim, a doctoral student at Oregon State University, will become the ACES graduate student-elect. This role is a three-year term serving first as the GSR-elect, followed by GSR designee and then GSR past representative.
