PURPOSE
The purpose of creating a space on ACES website is the international students to introduce themselves, their culture, and share helping system in their country. For example, what clinical mental health systems look like, and what are the titles of mental health helpers in their language. Also, students can share what challenges they have experienced during their schooling in counseling programs in America, what the non-international CES community need to know, and what helped them to navigate and graduate successfully. The ISFIN hopes to engage ACES members to share and educate others in addition to sharing the information via presentations at the conferences. Based on the feedback from ISFIN attendees, this page will help non-international ACES students and faculty to gain a better understanding of them.
