Cheryl Wolf, PhD, LPCC, NCC, GCDF, PHR, CCHt is an Associate Professor and Clinical Coordinator at Western Kentucky University. She currently serves as the new ACES Treasurer and previously served ACES as the Product Development Committee Chair (2015-2017). She served SACES in leadership roles since 2014 including Treasurer (2015-2020), Budget & Finance Committee Chair (2015-2020), Conference Committee (2014-2020), Webmaster (2016-2019), Webinar Taskforce (2017-2018), Conference Registration Coordinator (2014), and Emerging Leader (2014); she received the SACES President’s Outstanding Service Award in 2016. She also served with Chi Sigma Iota, International as a Chapter Faculty Advisor (2015-present), Wellness Counseling Practice and Research Committee member (2015-2020), Wellness Competencies Subcommittee member (2017-present), Leadership & Professional Advocacy Committee member (2015-2018), Web & Database Consultant (2014-2018), HQ Staff Web Administrator (2010-2014), and Leadership Fellow (2010-2011); she was the recipient of the International Outstanding Service to the Chapter Award in 2010. She has also been actively involved in service to NCDA, KCA, WKU, and her community. Her scholarly work focuses on career development, wellness, and counselor self-care. Her research and involvement on the steering committee of a community collaboration between the Chamber, school districts, business leaders, and university led to her developing and co-leading the College and Career Readiness Certificate program at WKU to support the community initiative. In addition, as a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD, she serves on the Service Academy Nomination Committees for Kentucky Senator and Congressional representatives annually reviewing and ranking more than 50 competitive high school applications to the U.S. service academies; she also serves as a local USNA admissions representative facilitating the formal interviews for high school candidate admissions applications. Her professional work experiences span over 25 years and have strengthened her passion for helping people find meaningful and satisfying careers that are aligned with their values and contribute to their overall personal wellness and work performance. Her professional career experiences include naval officer, military analyst, certified human resource professional, licensed financial advisor, licensed clinical professional counselor (career and crisis), clinical supervisor, and professor.
