Description:  A panel of experts from across specialty areas will discuss innovative strategies for clinical education in the face of challenging times. They will discuss ways their programs have responded to clinical work in the face of COVID-19, and share resources that may be able to support programs in considering their clinical training, using the resources currently available to their programs.

Panelists: Dr. Kris Goodrich (ACES President) and Dr. Heather Ambrose (ACES President-Elect) will facilitate.  Panelists include Dr. Casey Barrio Minton (ACES President-Elect-Elect), Dr. Natoya Haskins, Dr. Sandi Logan, and Dr. Erin Mason.

Participating and Sharing Resources

Don’t Just Watch – GET INVOLVED!  During the COVID-19 pandemic, counselor educators are looking for ideas on how to transform their class to an online environment. Your idea will be posted on the ACES website and you will be given credit. Additionally, your idea may be shared during the “Moving Counseling Courses Online” webinar series currently underway.

We are hoping this will be a good resource for your colleagues and yourself as you move courses from traditional to online format.  Thank you for your willingness to share your knowledge with one another and engage in positive collaboration during this trying time.
