Position Summary: The successful candidate will be responsible for: teaching courses in the counselor education program primarily in a face-to-face format; appropriate service; engagement in scholarly activity including research and grant writing; support for Chi Sigma Iota; and collaboration with colleagues to conduct program evaluation, CACREP accreditation, and field placement of students.


Minimum qualifications: Doctorate in counselor education and supervision or a closely related field. Experience teaching experience in counselor education.


Preferred qualifications: Doctorate from a CACREP accredited doctoral program; experience teaching in a graduate counselor education program; experience as a clinical or school counselor; a record of scholarly publications; and experience with CACREP accreditation. Preference may be shown to candidates with a well-defined research agenda in clinical mental health or school counseling.
