The Department of Psychology at Utah State University invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level to direct the nationally accredited M.Ed. program in Professional School Counselor Education. The role assignment for this position is 75% teaching, 20% research, and 5% service.
Applicants for this position must hold a doctoral degree in psychology or a closely-related discipline. Applicants with a background in School Counseling, Counselor Education, School Psychology, and Counseling Psychology are especially encouraged to apply.
Located on the main campus in Logan, Utah, this is a 1 FTE, 9-month academic year position, with additional funding available for summer months.

Direct, coordinate, and administer the M.Ed. Program in the Professional School Counselor Education, housed in the Psychology Department, ensuring compliance with national, state, and university standards for training and education to maintain national accreditation of the program.
Teach classes for the psychology department and M.Ed. Program. The teaching load for this position will be determined in consultation with the Department Head.
Conduct research and scholarly activities associated with the program.
Provide service contributions to the college, university, and department.
