Counseling Faculty Position at Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions

The Counseling Program at Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions (RMUoHP) is currently accepting applications for a Counseling faculty position(s) at the assistant, associate, or professor level.  This position is a 12-month appointment that will begin in January, May or August of 2022.  The ideal candidate will have graduate-level teaching experience in counseling and two or more years of clinical experience and an earned Doctorate in Counselor Education, be qualified as Core Counseling Faculty under CACREP Standards, and be licensed as a Professional Counselor (Mental Health or School Counseling). Salary and rank are commensurate with academic qualifications and experience. (Position(s) will remain open until filled; however, applications received by October 20, 2021, will receive full consideration.)

Responsibilities include developing and delivering online and face-to-face classroom learning experiences, counseling skills instruction, and clinical supervision within the Counseling Program; participating in scholarly activity; and providing departmental, university, professional, and community service.

In the cover letter, applicants should describe their graduate teaching experience, experience supervising counseling students, clinical experience in mental health counseling or school counseling, and preparation to teach and mentor students from groups that are historically underrepresented in higher education.
