The Department of Counseling and Psychological Services at Georgia State University is searching for a permanent part-time Clinical Assistant Professor to begin Fall, 2022.

Qualifications:  The individual chosen for this position must meet the following minimum criteria:

Possess CRC Certification and a LPC by start date
Earned doctorate in Counselor Education or Rehabilitation Counseling
Have experience teaching core and specialized courses within the Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling curriculum
Possess clinical supervision experience in Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling

Responsibilities: Major areas of responsibility for this individual are teaching, supervision, and service to the Department of Counseling and Psychological Services, College of Education and Human Development, and to Georgia State University. The individual chosen for this position will be expected to teach two courses a semester that include both foundational rehabilitation counseling courses along with practicum and internship. This individual will be expected to develop and foster working relationships with clinical rehabilitation counseling practicum and internship sites throughout greater metropolitan Atlanta area.

Additional responsibilities may include participating in curriculum assessment and development, admissions, contributing to program administration, advising and mentoring students, and participating on the rehabilitation counseling advisory board.
