ACES would like to thank Treasurer Dr. Brian Dew for his 11 years of dedicated service to the organization. When Dr. Dew assumed the role of treasurer, ACES was struggling financially and he helped move the organization to financial sustainability. We appreciate all he has done to help the association and we wish him all the best in his future endeavors.

Counselor Education and Supervision (CE&S) began its editorial fellowship program in 2017. The fellowship was developed to provide an opportunity for upcoming and new professionals to learn more about research scholarship and the process of publication. Applicants are reviewed by CE&S editors and editorial board mentors and matched with mentors based on interest and availability. Applicants are required to submit a letter of interest, a recommendation letter, and 2-page vita for review. Fellows must be doctoral students who have completed their first year of study by the start of the program year (May 1) or they must be new professionals in their first two years of a counselor education position. This program is facilitated by the assistant editor for CE&S and thus all questions about the program should be directed to the assistant editor. Fellows will be required to attend quarterly recorded meetings with the editors and fellows will be asked to complete up to one article review per month with their mentor. A call for fellows will be made in February of each year.
