The Association for Counselor Education and Supervision (ACES), a professional association of over 4000 counselor educators, supervisors and graduate counseling students, is seeking a part-time Technology Coordinator to provide a variety of online services for the association. The Technology Coordinator works under the supervision of the ACES Executive Director. Salary will be $12,000 per year with an average of 10 hours per week.
The candidate for this position should have the requisite skills to edit and manage the association’s WordPress website, manage and provide posts to the ACES Facebook page, Twitter feed, and LinkedIn page. The position is responsible for coordinating ACES webinars utilizing the GoToMeeting platform and acts as a technology liaison for ACES regions, interest networks, and other ACES workgroups as directed by the Executive Director.
The preferred candidate will be able to articulate their skills and experience with WordPress, webinar platforms, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other social media. Experience in public relations and communications is an asset. Knowing the context of professional counseling through affiliation as a member of ACES or other counseling associations is preferred but not required. ACES members are encouraged to share this posting with individuals they feel may have the skills needed for this position.
This is a remote position and the successful candidate will supply their own computer with webcam and internet access.
